RESERVATION SYSTEM OF INDIA!

Today I want to talk about a cancer of our system – Reservation. Reservation, I am not talking about railway reservation but I am talking about reservation in education and Government jobs. Today every youth of this country wants a Government job and a seat in Government College, but it’s a dream for most of the candidates. But what is reservation? It is actually leaving aside a certain number of seats in government institutions for members of backward communities. It is actually helping some candidates of a community and making fun of rest of the candidates.

When I gave my first AIEEE exam in 2009 I scored 82 marks that time, I had a friend(SC) who got 48 marks, I won’t say I was more deserving or more eligible for that but after the result, He got a seat in Govt. Engineering college and I didn’t. It is the story of almost every deserving student in our country. Today this scheme (reservation) is creating a social division or social drift; people who are getting benefits from this system are often not liked by other people who think that they also deserves good opportunities.
It was first introduced by Mandal commission, by reasoning that a group (SC/ST/OBC) in Indian society is always disheartened by higher group/community (General) in India. Even founder of Indian constitution Dr. B.R.Ambedkar was against this, he said “If reservation is given we should give this to the poor people, not to some categories”. Which was correct, but Ex-prime minister V.P. Singh introduced it and , when he lost the power it was abolished by other government. But congress introduced it again in 2004 and since then it is pain for majority of candidates.

I am not against reservation but not on the basis of caste base but on the base of someone’s economic conditions. A tea-vendor’s, vegetable seller’s, tailor’s barber’s, labour’s etc. children deserves to be in good government college but it’s a dream for them. While majority of people who are in SC/ST group and who have good economic condition gets unnecessary benefits due to this system. I hope current NDA govt. Will change this injustice with most of the students, hope this system will end and every candidate could dream of a government job. Well this scheme should not be used by NDA as politics tool which congress always did. Congress always planned to give reservation to Muslim community which was never accepted by Supreme Court of India. If they were successful to imply this I am sure this would be a major reason for communal tension in our country. Give reservation but only in the condition of economy, not on the basis of caste, creed and religion. At last, I am again requesting our Govt. To change the parameters of reservation as soon as possible so that talented candidates could help in nation’s growth.

The Golden Phase - College Life

College life is really the best phase of anyone’s life. It is the phase when an individual learns so many things about life, those things which will help him throughout his life. In this phase a person learns and experiences almost each and everything which going to help him forever. It’s a phase where an individual experiences a sudden change from adolescence to adulthood. This phase is termed as “Make or Break” phase, because whatever direction we want to give to  our life we can give, if we want to be a somebody we can, if we want to be a nobody we can. A person can do hard work in this age and can spend rest of his life in pleasure or he can have rest in this period and can spend rest of his life in worries and tensions.
All experiences are necessary in this phase, friends are important; special someone is important, money and career are important. But focus on one thing is not good, I mean a person should know about every aspect in this phase and should try everything whatever comes in his way but he shouldn’t be indulged in only one thing that may cause him/her any damage.
I have learned many things during my college period and today I can proudly say that it was best phase of my life and I have enjoyed it to fullest. Sometimes I ask myself is there anything that I haven’t do? My mind says you have done every possible thing in your limited time. I have made some of the best friends – who told me the meaning of friendship, I have bunked many classes, and today I remember them as the “Happy Breaks” or “Stress Buster” , they were important because my course was really tough and gritty.
If a student doesn’t think about his future in this time, I believe that person is wasting his life; it’s a phase where every person should focus on one idea and stick to it. Many people plan something when they start college but at the end their plans is totally changed. Believe me! It’s true – I am not lying or faking. It happens with most of the people, I should say with the majority. But I believe everyone becomes habitual with this change in their life.
“No Knowledge, Without College”, when I was in school all my teachers used this proverb to describe a college life. When I was in college I find it as a headache, to go to class and to attend lectures, I don’t believe in bookish knowledge and I always stick to my point of view. Last week, I went back to my college, same building, same faculty, same busyness but strange faces. I was missing my classmates-batch mates so much, every corner of that campus was reminding me of my “GOLDEN PERIOD’’ , my friends, my memories. Really it was like a home coming, I wish I could stay there forever but it’s not possible. These memories will live in heart and soul forever.

Today I miss my four golden years, I have lived them to the fullest and I wish I could live them again.

Jan-Dhan Yojana

28/08/2014, ThursdayToday our Prime Minister launched a scheme termed as “Jan-Dhan”. As the name suggest it means everyone has the right to have money in his pocket, this scheme is basically focussed on the welfare of poor and needy people who can’t afford easy life, who don’t have good financial conditions, who struggles  with the daily life for small-small needs, who wants a good and respectable life but they don’t get. This scheme will be beneficial for them and this will help them to do a fresh start. A poor person can imagine comfort, good food, good health care etc. only in his dreams, but after implementation of this scheme in grass root level every poor person will observe a change in his life. This initiative by Mr. Narendra Modi will do a great change in the life of millions of millions poor people.A tea vendor, a vegetable vendor, a newspaper seller, a waiter, a sweeper, a ice cream seller and many other persons, who does small scale work or labour deserves  a respectable and comfortable life but they don’t have it. They try too much in their life to change their financial conditions, but they are not successful in doing this. I hope this scheme will make them self dependent and I hope poor class of our country will stand up for their betterment. In this scheme, Govt. Have a target to provide free bank account for two persons of every poor family. They says they are going to enroll 7.5 crores poor family, it means near about 15 crores will get direct benefit from this. All the enrolled people will get benefit of Govt. Subsidies directly into their accounts. Whenever any Govt. starts a scheme or an initiative to change lives of poor, the benefit is never reached towards those poor due to a big corrupt chain of politicians, bureaucrats etc. But after this scheme I believe the poor will get their right, and in term of emergency they will get loan from the Govt directly means no roll of money lenders and intermediates. Govt to poor JNow I want to discuss the benefits of this scheme. The Govt of India will enroll people within few minutes without any form problems, attestations etc. using Aadhar card, Driving license, Ration cards etc. if they don’t have these, they required only one letter from Sarpanch (head of a village) or pradhan (head of all wards). After opening account they will get a Ru-Pay atm card and a health insurance of one lac rupees through it. A rich person or a person from middle class background can afford a health insurance, if they face a physical problem, they can consult any hospital - any doctor but a poor can’t get this attention throughout his life. Now he will feel secure in this department, he will get proper medical care and with full expenses, doctors will take care of them. This scheme will open new banks for a population of 2000 in a village. The villagers won’t need to run to city for their benefits, in short they won’t need to suffer anymore. Banks will run towards them. The woman of the family will get a credit card, which they can use when they have urgency. Today many records were created and many were broken 1.5 crore account were opened and never in the history of insurance sector 1.5 crore person were given accidental insurance in a day. This step will include all the poor people in the mainstream of nation’s development. I wish this scheme will help to eradicate poverty of poor people and help their life to move ahead towards betterment. They will check their bank account by just dialling *99# and they can check it from top to bottom, really it’s a great step to eradicate poverty, and I hope the depth between poor and rich will be filled by it.
