WHY THIS WORLD-CUP IS NOT THE 'SAME ONE' FOR ME!!

I was born in the year when Imran Khan lifted the world cup i.e. 1992, I was 4 when great Arjun Ranatunga won the cricket world cup in the Asian subcontinent, and I was 7 in 1999 – where I saw the courage of Steve Waugh and his ‘invincible’ team and their dominance in the Cricket world for the three consecutive world cups till 2007. I saw the moment in my life, when M. S. Dhoni lifted the cricket world cup after 28 years. However, why I am talking in a sarcastic manner and why I am telling you cricket world cup history? It’s because this world cup of 2015 is not the same one for me, I saw a legend since my childhood, a legend who inspired many generations to go and play cricket, a person who made cricket a religion in India, a person who is responsible for scoring a number of records for the nation, the person is – Sachin Tendulkar.
That is why this world cup is not the same for me and I am not excited about the ongoing matches. Great Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most number of runs, number of centuries, good match average both in test and one day matches, and many other records that I cannot describe here, because the list of records are longer than we can even calculate. He made the generations to start cricket and to make it as a career. He retired in 2012, and believe me a majority of people has stopped watching cricket game. Believe me my generation is, raised by watching his talent and his aura. We love him and you he has scored the most number of runs in the world cup as well, so that is why I said this world cup is not the same for me.
Anybody can be the champion and my wishes are with each and every player, but I am not interested in watching it, told you the reason. Therefore, I am little sad during the world cup, hope every team will perform better for their nation. Hope teams will show a great talent of their skills.

WHY CRICKET ACCIDENTS ARE SCARIER, THAN ANY OTHER SPORTS MISHAP!!!

Phillips Hughes, 26 years old, faced a bouncer by Sean Abbot on 2014-11-27, in a match between NSW vs. South Australia. He was batting really well, but just one bouncer changed the circumstances forever. The ball hit beneath his left ear, and he sent to hospital immediately. He struggled with the circumstances as much he could, but on Thursday the 27th, he lost his battle against the destiny. He was a talented person who played 26 test matches and 25 ODI matches for Australia; he was one of the most recognized batsmen of the nation. It is not the first incident that a player lost his life in a cricket match; many people have lost their lives in the past. Let us talk about them:

Ian Foley, one of the most respected all rounder of 80's and early 90's, in the English County, and who played for England too, was invincible player of the game. In a game for White haven, Foley beard a blow on the right below his right eye. He sent to the hospital immediately, where he faced a heart attack and died. He was 30 years old at that time.

One such Incident occurred with India too. A cricketer named as, Raman Lamba, he was one of the promising batsmen who showed up in the 90's along with some legends like Saurav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and Sachin Tendulkar. Raman played 4 test matches and 32 ODI matches for India, he had a good batting average but on February 23, 1998 in Dhaka, a ball while fielding at short-leg position hit Lamba’s temple. He was dead after the three days due to the internal haemorrhage.

Such are the biggest examples, which occurred on the field Phillip Hughes, Ian Foley and Raman Lamba, are some of the examples but the list goes on. Cricket is a beautiful game, but some incidents like this make a blot on it. Yes, when you are playing a game, there is a big chance of injury, I agree! In modern days, we can find some good equipment in the market, but still the accidents and mishaps are not easy to avoid.

I have seen many sports such as Formula one, Moto GP, soccer, wrestling and boxing, where incidents occur at any time. I hope I have shared what I wanted to reveal. Sports should play with great heart, will and determination, I am sad about Phillip, he was talented, I hope may he rest in peace. May he find peace in heaven!

Thanks for reading!

The NaMo Story - Part #2

A lot of things have occurred since my last post on this topic. This series is related to the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. In the last article, I have discussed about his life, especially his childhood, his struggles, and his devotion towards almighty. Being a CM of Gujarat, his achievements, his challenges, his attitude for good governance and his strive against Gujarat riots.
We all know in the Lok Shabha elections, 2014, due to his power packed campaigned B.J.P won the full majority. It is a record of its kind, because after thirty years, i.e. since 1984 no political party; has ever won a majority in general elections. There are a number of regional and national parties in India and it’s not easy to win an absolute majority in this nation. But due to the “Modi magic”, a political party won 282 Lok Shabha seats, he is our PM for the last six months and he is working really hard to change the scenario and the mind set of the people. Whether it’s in agriculture sector, research, governance, business, etc. take any sector, he is looking forward eagerly to achieve good results for the nation.
When he took the charge as 16th prime minister, since then it has been a 11 rupees reduction in petrol prices and 5 rupees reduction in diesel prices. I know the rates are decided by world markets/barrel, and these days the prices are really low in international market, but for the last five years, this reduction was absent, the rates used to increase that time but now the situation is different. He has started a “Jan-Dhan” Yojana; by this many millions of people will get a direct benefit into their bank accounts. The inflation rates are really low at the present scenario; in October month it was 1.7%, which is the lowest number of the last six years. Many business enterprises are willing to come and invest in India, which is changing the world’s view about us. It will generate more job opportunities and employment for the youngsters.
Recently in the assembly elections, “Modi magic”, in Haryana and Maharashtra B.J.P won with a respected margin. It was a collective effort by leaders of this party, but believe me it was trusted on Narendra Modi, by the people. The situations are not in favor of the present Government but they are working so hard, to change the perspective and situation of the country. I hope our Government will achieve what they desire.

Right now, the PM is in Australia to attend the G-20 summit and he has raised the issue of terror funding & black money, strongly among the top leaders of the world. American president, German Chancellor, British PM etc. all are appreciating the efforts of Modi with a big heart. These days I am observing a good change in the atmosphere, a new energy, an energy which is positive, which is for the welfare of the nation, which is dedicated to the nation and this energy is Narendra Modi.

WHAT'S WRONG CAPTAIN COOL?

I respect him but today I am really not happy the way he treated his team and his fan’s hope in the England tour.  First of all India lost test series by 3-1 to England.  Being an Indian cricket team fan, I was highly disappointed the way he and his team performed. Okay! Being a team India fan I can agree we have no such conditions here in India, like England is a cold country etc. The ball swings a lot there but now with the help of technology we can create such conditions anywhere, in any cricket academy we have such facility. Whenever any foreign cricket team comes to India they practice really hard and adjust in our climatic conditions so well, so why can’t we? Every player in Indian cricket team earns a handsome and respectable income in one month. So it means there is no shortage of money or resources. Every player can afford anything whatever they desire then what’s wrong? It’s my question to every fan. The question is about their patriotism and integrity. Indian team completed 3rd, 4th, 5th test match in 10 days combine. English team didn’t play for second innings in all three matches and that’s my point to tell you here, what’s wrong with us?

Indian team won ODI series by 3-1, the performance by Indian team was good, I don’t deny it but we have to remember that English team is not a good one day side. We may have won  the series but it also reveals another aspect about team India that we are “jack of all trades” when it comes to play shorter format but when we need to play original format or “pure whites” formats we are no good.

And yesterday India played a T20 game, India got a good start but in the last 5-7 over we lost our path. But the worse thing was our captain MSD, showed a great character of over-confidence in the last over of our inning. Yeah! Seriously he wasted 3 important balls which could change the dimension of the match that time but he didn’t give a single chance to other partner. Some BCCI funded commentators were appreciating him, but seriously what false image they were trying to create among us. I always respect Dhoni, he has worked really hard to achieve this level and stature but he should remember he is the captain of Indian cricket team and we have our hopes from him. Okay! Winning and losing is part of a game but losing by fight is greater than winning by fluke. And at least he should not make unnecessary statements and non-justifiable arguments in every press conference.

WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY

Keep in mind Mr. Captain. We expect a good performance from you and your team not a loser’s attitude and loser’s performance.
