I WAS YOUR PRIME MINISTER!

आहुति बाकि यज्ञ अधूरा

25 December 1924, Christmas was being, celebrated in the British India. That time in the house of Krishna Devi and Krishna Bihari Vajpayee in Gwalior, a boy was born. The boy was from a middle class Brahmin family and, who was going to be the 11th PM of India. The boy was a poet, a diplomat, a Prime Minister and a noble man from his personality. Oh! So sorry I did not tell you, He is Bihari too, “Atal Bihari”. Atal Bihari Vajpayee completed his schooling from the Saraswati Shishu Mandir, and after that, he went to Victoria College in Gwalior, from where he graduated in Hindi, English and Sanskrit. He did his M.A. in political science with distinction from Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College, Kanpur.

He joined the Rastriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) in 1939. He was associated with the youth wing of Arya Samaj too, of which he became the General Secretary in 1944. Due to the riots of 1947 between Hindus and Muslims, he gave up studying law. He also worked for the newspapers of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Rastradharma (a Hindi monthly), Panchjanya (a Hindi weekly) and dailies Swadesh and Veer Arjun.

Vajpayee ji never married and, remained a bachelor throughout his entire life. When he became PM, he performed Pokhran 2, a test to understand the nuclear strength of India. India faced an economic ban from the USA and many other developed nations, but Atal ji did not give up and struggle that situation with great bravery. He faced Kargil war, a backstabbing by Pakistan, that time every leader of the opposition tried to degrade Atal ji, but just like his name “Atal” (Firm, Concrete) he faced every bad situation and survived that time too. He was the PM who initiated Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, which joined every possible village of the nation; roads from it connected every poorest and backward area of the nation. He laid National Highway network, which changed the view of the infrastructure in our nation. He was the person who dreamed to provide mobile phones to the poorest of the poorest person of the India, and who set the rates so that anyone can afford them.

Everyone, every political leader of this nation, respects him. He was the person who maintained the secularism of the nation in true meaning. He never tried to dishearten any religion in the nation. He has done every possible thing for the nation, created jobs, brought investment, maintained good bonds with neighbour nations, controlled inflation and fulfilled every promise, which he made to the nation. He was, he is and he will always be the best politician in our political history. I wish him a healthy and long life. Thank you, Atal ji for your contribution, to the nation and, in the growth of it. We owe so much to you. I wish you a very happy birthday and merry Christmas. Moreover, friends, yes “He Was Our Prime Minister”.

GURU GOVIND SINGH: A SYMBOLISATION OF BRAVERY & VALOUR

It 22 December, on this day 348 years ago, a legend was born, a legend that enlightened the world from his valour. He was a symbol of bravery that showed a different way to live the life, for the Indians. A legend who fought for the weak people of the society, a legend who is the real role model for anyone, I am talking about- Guru Govind Singh. He was a warrior, philosopher and poet, who contributed so much for the Sikhism. He became the leader of Sikhs at a young age of nine due to his father’s sacrifice for the society. He was the son of Guru Tegh Bahadur, ninth guru of Sikhs. His major contribution was to initiate the Sikh Khalsa in 1699, passing the Guru-ship to the Eternal Sikh Guru, the Guru Granth Sahib- holy book of the Sikhs.
In 1699, Guru Ji addressed his followers on April 13, 1699, the day of Vaisakhi. He addressed the worshippers from the entryway of a tent pitched on a small hill. He first asked everyone, who he was for them? Everyone answered - "You are our Guru." He asked them, who were they, to which everyone replied - "We are your Sikhs." He then said that today the Guru needs something from his Sikhs. Everyone said, "Hukum Karo, Sache Patshah" (Order us, True Lord). Then withdrawing his sword, he asked for a volunteer who was willing to sacrifice his head. No one answered his call, but on later invitation, Daya Ram came forward and offered his head to the Guru. Guru Govind Singh took the volunteer inside the tent. The Guru returned to the crowd with blood dripping from his sword. He then demanded another head. One more volunteer came forward, and entered the tent with him. The Guru again emerged with blood on his sword. This happened three more times. Then the five volunteers came out of the tent in new clothing unharmed.
Guru Govind Singh Ji then poured clear water into an iron bowl and added Punjabi sweeteners into it, he then stirred it with a double-edged sword along with reading from Adi Granth. He called this mixture as Amrit ("holy water") and gave it to the five men. Guru Ji later honored these five men, who were ready to sacrifice their life, as Panj Pyare. They were the first (baptized) Sikhs of the Khalsa: Daya Ram, Dharam Das, Himmat Rai, Mohkam Chand, and Sahib Chand.
Guru Govind Singh then called a line, which has been the rallying-cry of the Khalsa since then: 'Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji Ki Fateh' (Khalsa belongs to God; victory belongs to God). He gave them the entire name "Singh" (lion), and selected them as the Khalsa, the body of baptized Sikhs.

He founded a valiant tribe who must have five K’s along them- Kachha, Kangha, Kesh, Kirpan and kada. Whose mission was to fight for the society and, against the injustice of Mughals, they saved so many weak people from being, converted into Islam. His life is an inspiration for us; we should honor him and respect his life in the society. We should learn from his life and protect the poor people of the society from being, converted into a Christian and Muslims, who are doing this forceful conversion since independence. His life, his principles and his dedication to the society is worth to remember. I believe the people of the society should learn the characters of selflessness, patriotism and dignity from him!

How Convocations Can Help You Live a Better Life!

On 11 December, this year I witnessed the most awaiting event in the life of a scholar. The event gives you the feeling that you have passed your graduation successfully. This event has a bigger importance, believe me, you should not miss this event by any means, and if you are out of the city-, you should come, if you are doing a job- you should come! I mean you should visit your college by any means – I am talking about, convocation.
You can say this is the most awaited event after completing your graduation. You visit your college once again (perhaps for the last time), you meet all the familiar faces who made your life miserable for the last 3-4 years, ha-ha! You meet your teachers and share your life after the college; you talk about various vicissitudes, which you are experiencing after college.  You talk about your memories, which you have shared with your friends. You get a chance to see your college architecture once again, and you feel nostalgic by seeing every corner of it.
I got a chance similar like every other scholar. I met my closest friends, my faculties, old crush and many other familiar faces. It was a great feeling to meet them once again, felt overwhelmed and relived the four years of my graduation. I missed every one of them, and you know this 11 December passed quickly, that I cannot describe. All the handsome boys and pretty chicks were looking extremely adorable.
I wish I could relive my college life once again, but you know it is not possible. We cannot go back to the college, sit in the canteen, stare elegant people and do whatever we wish. No, it is not possible. When we are living something or going through a phase, we always hate it, but when we finish that phase - we miss those memories too much. I miss my college too much, I love my college, and I miss those memories.

I can agree on the popular phrase, ″No knowledge without college”, it is true about the college life!

A Day In History

It’s 16 December, this day has a great importance in the history of Indian Defense, and today I am going to share about an incident, which created a new nation. On this day, 33 years ago under the command of General Sam Manekshaw India created a new nation, Bangladesh, from the map of Pakistan. India in collaboration with Eastern Pakistan started Operation Chengiz Khan against the barbarism and cruelty of Pakistan army, who were slaughtering millions of people in the East Pakistan. The war lasted for 13 days, and it made 90,000 to 93,000 Pakistan Armed Forces with paramilitary personnel as war prisoners by Indian army. In addition, Pakistan faced a huge humiliation from this incident.
This is Sam Manekshaw.
Indian Army is in Bangladesh.
Your Air force is, destroyed.
You are, surrounded on all sides and if you do not surrender,
You all will be killed unmercifully.”
-          Sam Manekshaw during the war

General Manekshaw planned every move very carefully and strategically, he created pressure on Pakistan Army very bravely and which resulted in the victory of India. The pictures of signature between Lt. Gen Arora and Lt. Gen Niyazzi are the best memory regarding the war. India won the war from every side, in air, water or land. Moreover, India defeated Pakistan Army in Eastern and Western fronts of the border.
Our Army created a nation for the sake of the native people. India could exaggerate the war and could do more harm for Pakistan, but after freeing Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, India concluded the war. Indian army was brave and humble; we have done big harm for the Pakistan in minimum sacrifice.
After winning the war, Indira Gandhi and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto signed Shimla agreement, which ensured the Independence of Bangladesh and returning of POW's. India treated all the POW's in strict relation with the Geneva-Convention, rule 1925. It released more than 90,000 Pakistani POW's within five months.

The agreement also gave back more than 13,000 km² of land that, Indian troops had seized in West Pakistan during the war, though India retained a few strategic areas. However, some in India felt that the treaty had been too merciful to Bhutto, who had begged for leniency, arguing that the fragile democracy in Pakistan would crumble if Pakistanis took the agreement as being overly harsh and that he would be, accused of losing Kashmir in addition to the loss of East Pakistan.
This day is to remind the sacrifice and bravery of Indian Army. I want to say that we love you; you have made us proud every time, Indian Army. You are the best, whenever we need you-you are always there for us! Thanks

An Incident, which we should not forget!!!

03 Dec. 14, 20:47
Thirty years ago, a place in India named as “Bhopal” faced one of most horrendous nights in the history of human civilization. The disaster or catastrophe is known as the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, which occurred by gas leak in the Union Carbide. It is, also known as the world’s worst industrial disaster.
It happened from the night of 2 December and continued until 3 December 1984 at Union Carbide India Limited pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The gas leaked from the plant was Methyl Isocyanate, and it affected near about 500,000 people. It was so poisonous that it made its way in and around the towns situated near the plant.
It leads to the death of near about 3787 people, which confirmed by M.P. Government. Ingrid Ackerman estimated near about 8,000 died or more within two weeks from the day of the gas leak. Nevertheless, believe me it has ruined the life of so many people, which cannot calculate.

The reason of this catastrophe is a debatable question. The Government of India and many activists alleged careless management and delayed maintenance, which made a situation where routine pipe upholding caused a back-flow of water into a MIC tank, which eventually triggered the disaster. Union Carbide challenged that the water entered the tank through an act of sabotage.
The plant was in charge, by Warren Anderson, who was CEO at that time in Bhopal. Many court cases filed against him, but all the cases were useless because he ran from the nation immediately after the incident, and he never returned.
Let me talk now, what I actually want to convey. The people, who were accused and involved in the incident, got no imprisonment or serious punishment. The laws were, changed for those people, the actual punishment was about 7 years, but the sections in Indian Penal Code (IPC) were changed and only two people got punishment, which was two years only. The compensation was about 7000 crores but it settled by the Government of congress about 750 crores.
The affected people got neither any compensation nor any justice from Indian Government. Warren Anderson, who was responsible in this incident never, returned to India and he avoided Indian laws throughout his life. He expired in 2014.

The effects can be, observed in the people in 2014. The people there are mostly blind or having some physical disorder. Whenever I see their pictures, my heart cries for them. Many children, women, men, adults and elder people, who were innocent suffered this horrific night. They slept on 2 December and never woke up. Internet is full of stories, reports and pictures, of the affected people and every report is screaming for the justice. The justice for the people, they do not need money or fame, they need justice, pure justice.
I hope I have expressed my views about Bhopal Tragedy.

Have a Good Night.

WHY INSTAGRAM ADDICTIONS ARE SEXY!!!

Instagram is one of the most popular social media applications, where you can post your pictures and videos, and you can promote it. It is entirely different from Facebook, Whatsapp and Twitter, and from other photo applications like PhotoGrid, which are available in Android and IOS. It not only provides to promote our life among people but also gives us an opportunity to do the marketing of our business. Some of the biggest brands such as Aston Martins, Ferrari, KFC, Apple, etc. are using this application to promote their product worldwide. Not only big brands, but also every small retailer is using Instagram to endorse its product among others. It is really an addictive application, and from the last two years since its launch, they have gained so much revenue from its active users. Let us talk about various aspects about Instagram-
HELPS IN GAINING FOLLOWERS -
Instagram is one of those communities, where we can find gaining so many followers. It means you have to interact beyond uploading pictures, like, commenting on pictures and liking the pictures of other people, also replying the comments on your pictures. Always remember, you have to search those people who shares same interests just like you, because it will be easy for them to follow you back. It will, allow you to see their latest uploads on your home page and vice versa. Do not follow every second person either you would not see other’s pictures properly. When someone likes or makes comment on your pictures, it is necessary for you to do that because that person will discover you interesting and interacting.
CAN BE A EFFECTIVE FOR BUSINESS ADVERTISEMENT -
When, you are doing a business of a particular product. You should use hashtags in Instagram, which are a major part here. This helps you to search something using Instagram searches. A person needs to write “#XYZ” in the search bar and he can find his result. In addition, the tag should not be bigger; it should be limited, which can make a search result better. Include your business name in your posts to create hash tags. The created hash tags must be creative and unique, so that it can run a good marketing campaign for your product. For example, soda brand can use a creative hash tag like #ThursdaySODAday, to connect with their community; it will encourage good audience for the brand.

GENERATES GOOD NUMBER OF LIKES -
One of the best ways to achieve maximum number of likes on every picture is by posting good pictures. The pictures should be full of creativity; consistently posting beautiful, interesting content, which stands above from other pictures, is an awesome way to be popular. Therefore, the photographer must do something different, which is out of the box, if your followers do not know what the next picture will be; they will be sticking around and liking your pictures. Always remember whatever the subject of the picture is, people on Instagram prompt to have good reactions, which has great colors and interesting contrast, in short the pictures, which are most appealing. A person usually likes mountains, beaches, rivers, monuments, delicious food, etc. pictures on Instagram, which appeals them mostly.

WRAPPING UP – This application is my favorite one and I have made so many friends on Instagram. This application has increased my interest in photography I am addicted towards it. My username is aarundh, if you have Instagram do follow me. I would love to show you my talent and creativity.
