How Convocations Can Help You Live a Better Life!

On 11 December, this year I witnessed the most awaiting event in the life of a scholar. The event gives you the feeling that you have passed your graduation successfully. This event has a bigger importance, believe me, you should not miss this event by any means, and if you are out of the city-, you should come, if you are doing a job- you should come! I mean you should visit your college by any means – I am talking about, convocation.
You can say this is the most awaited event after completing your graduation. You visit your college once again (perhaps for the last time), you meet all the familiar faces who made your life miserable for the last 3-4 years, ha-ha! You meet your teachers and share your life after the college; you talk about various vicissitudes, which you are experiencing after college.  You talk about your memories, which you have shared with your friends. You get a chance to see your college architecture once again, and you feel nostalgic by seeing every corner of it.
I got a chance similar like every other scholar. I met my closest friends, my faculties, old crush and many other familiar faces. It was a great feeling to meet them once again, felt overwhelmed and relived the four years of my graduation. I missed every one of them, and you know this 11 December passed quickly, that I cannot describe. All the handsome boys and pretty chicks were looking extremely adorable.
I wish I could relive my college life once again, but you know it is not possible. We cannot go back to the college, sit in the canteen, stare elegant people and do whatever we wish. No, it is not possible. When we are living something or going through a phase, we always hate it, but when we finish that phase - we miss those memories too much. I miss my college too much, I love my college, and I miss those memories.

I can agree on the popular phrase, ″No knowledge without college”, it is true about the college life!

An Incident, which we should not forget!!!

03 Dec. 14, 20:47
Thirty years ago, a place in India named as “Bhopal” faced one of most horrendous nights in the history of human civilization. The disaster or catastrophe is known as the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, which occurred by gas leak in the Union Carbide. It is, also known as the world’s worst industrial disaster.
It happened from the night of 2 December and continued until 3 December 1984 at Union Carbide India Limited pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The gas leaked from the plant was Methyl Isocyanate, and it affected near about 500,000 people. It was so poisonous that it made its way in and around the towns situated near the plant.
It leads to the death of near about 3787 people, which confirmed by M.P. Government. Ingrid Ackerman estimated near about 8,000 died or more within two weeks from the day of the gas leak. Nevertheless, believe me it has ruined the life of so many people, which cannot calculate.

The reason of this catastrophe is a debatable question. The Government of India and many activists alleged careless management and delayed maintenance, which made a situation where routine pipe upholding caused a back-flow of water into a MIC tank, which eventually triggered the disaster. Union Carbide challenged that the water entered the tank through an act of sabotage.
The plant was in charge, by Warren Anderson, who was CEO at that time in Bhopal. Many court cases filed against him, but all the cases were useless because he ran from the nation immediately after the incident, and he never returned.
Let me talk now, what I actually want to convey. The people, who were accused and involved in the incident, got no imprisonment or serious punishment. The laws were, changed for those people, the actual punishment was about 7 years, but the sections in Indian Penal Code (IPC) were changed and only two people got punishment, which was two years only. The compensation was about 7000 crores but it settled by the Government of congress about 750 crores.
The affected people got neither any compensation nor any justice from Indian Government. Warren Anderson, who was responsible in this incident never, returned to India and he avoided Indian laws throughout his life. He expired in 2014.

The effects can be, observed in the people in 2014. The people there are mostly blind or having some physical disorder. Whenever I see their pictures, my heart cries for them. Many children, women, men, adults and elder people, who were innocent suffered this horrific night. They slept on 2 December and never woke up. Internet is full of stories, reports and pictures, of the affected people and every report is screaming for the justice. The justice for the people, they do not need money or fame, they need justice, pure justice.
I hope I have expressed my views about Bhopal Tragedy.

Have a Good Night.

"Fried-Chicken" For Supper!

Cooking is one of my hobby and my passion. Whenever I get free time I use to cook, I have no problem with vegan or non-vegan cuisines. I love cooking, and believe me Sunday evenings are my favourite time to sharpen my skills. I am a foodie and lazy person, and Sunday evening is a lethal time for this, ha-ha. Today I am preparing “Fried Chicken”, why? Because it is one of favourite cookery item and it doesn’t take much time to cook. Okay! Without wasting much time let me tell you the procedure and about the ingredients.
Ingredients
·         1 egg.
·         3 cups of milk.
·         3 cup fine breadcrumbs and some flour.
·         Salt according to the taste.
·         1 tsp. Garlic powder.
·         1 tsp paprika.
·         4 tsp. Black pepper.
·         Cooking oil
·         Fry chicken near about 700 grams cut in small pieces.
·         2 tsp. Red chilli powder
·         Crushed onions and some coriander leaves for garnishing.
Procedure
1.      Prepare the batter using milk and egg.
2.      Combine some flour, breadcrumbs and seasonings (salt, paprika, pepper etc.)  in another bowl.
3.      Dip each chicken piece, first into the flour mixture and into the batter and again into the flour.
4.      Let the oil to warm completely, the fryer should be big enough to gather many chicken pieces at one time.
5.      Remove the chicken pieces after getting the golden brown colour from the pan/fryer.
6.      After removing the chicken from the pan, put it on a tissue paper to soak excess oil from it.

Use some lemon slices, small onion slices and tomato ketchup while serving. It is enough for 4 people of a family. Also use enough coriander leaves while serving to make it more beautiful. Preparing fried chicken at home has so many benefits. You control the quality and you use the fresh ingredients. It’s a sure-fire winner for a mealtime and one of the most cooked items for a party all over the world. Enjoy this meal with lemonade, you will love the combination. Please try this at your home; you will love this delicious meal. I hope you have enjoyed reading my delicious article.

The Real Iron Man !

31st October has a great importance in the History of Indian. On this auspicious day a stalwart, a legend was born, stalwart who provide us the present map or geography of our India. A son of a farmer who combined 565 princely states into the largest democracy of the world - Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel – A man who constructed India. A person who was raised in poverty, worked hard for his place, never compromised with the rights of poor people and with his principles. He is often known often known as the "Iron Man of India" or "Bismarck of India", he is also remembered as the "Patron Saint" of India's civil servants for establishing modern all-India services. It was he who introduced IAS exams, by the motif to connect more and more youth in the Governmental machinery.
He was raised in the countryside of Gujarat. Sardar Patel was a successful lawyer, but due to the influence of Gandhi ji he left law and joined the Freedom movement. He was a strict devotee of Mahatma Gandhi and he believed in the Gandhi ji’s ideas and philosophy. Patel did not hesitate in using the policy of ‘Saam- Daam- Dand- Bhed’ (to teach, to convince, to punish and to differ) for achieving his objective among the owners of princely states. Such was his resolution that princely states were left with no other option but to merge with India, for the good of India, for the idea of unbreakable India. He is considered as very bright and genius leader of all time, he was a visionary person and was always successful in judging someone.
After winning the election of congress president, in 1946 Sardar Patel was going to be the first prime minister, but due to Nehru’s betrayal he could not achieve it. He was not given the respect which he deserved. I think we should have “Sardar Patel” in many things like currency, we should have a national holiday on 31st October; poverty removal plans, we should have statues on the honor of Sardar Patel. Bad luck of our nation is that we have named everything on the Nehru-Gandhi family, but not anything in the name of Sardar Patel or Bhagat Singh. It’s really sad that most of the Indians don’t know about his contribution, his family, his principles, but we can give a huge lecture on Nehru and Gandhi, really it can happen here. He took responsibility of all India except J&K, he gave full result on adding every princely state, while Nehru took responsibility of Jammu & Kashmir and he failed badly.

31st October, 2014 GOI is going to conduct a “Run for Unity” on the honor of Sardar Patel. I expect this initiative could be more successful than expected. I hope every citizen of India could realize the involvement of him in uniting the nation. He is an unsung hero of, he never asked for any favors and he never got what he actually deserved. We should honor this person every time; I hope I have expressed my feelings among you. I hope you have enjoyed it while reading!

Apple Pay is the "Future" for Online Payments?

Apple is the one of the most famous brand in the mobile phone industry. The look, the design, the touch sensitivity, the features of Apple are awesome, they are way ahead than Android. Apple is a status symbol and everybody wants to purchase it, but here we are going to talk about an extremely first-class service which Apple provides to its customers-Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is the latest innovation of the company, it is a service by which we can buy a number of products online. Company’s new electronic payment system, is an innovation of the highest level. A number of critics have agreed that Apple pay is the future of electronic payments. But the company needs to understand that if they want a global success they need to clear some big hurdles, right now it is available in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. The best thing I like about Apple Pay is that we need to use our fingerprint to validate a purchase on our cell phones, which will be the future of payments for goods and service. Once again Apple has shown its vision for the future.

The big difference between Apple Pay and Google Wallet is that, it is user concentric. It is not considered for the credit card companies or retailers. It is designed to make it easier for the customers, which is better than cash, cards. The card payment systems are simple to use, but they are not as easy as Apple Pay. Payment via cards requires multiple steps, where you swipe and type. Sometimes we require to hit multiple check boxes on multiple screens with an electronic pen. It’s a headache, and there’s nothing more annoying than waiting for a transaction in front of your mobile/laptop screen. But in Apple Pay, you touch your iPhone to the terminal, brush the home button with thumb and your work is done. The security provided by Apple is really good; there is no scope where we can face a deception, where we don’t need to worry at all regarding money. Many people may say Apple Pay will fail because Google Wallet failed, they failed because they tried to replace some existing parts of another system. While Apple has smartly partnered with the credit card companies and provided solutions for merchants in their pockets, making it value add, not a replacement.

A Must Visit Place, Mcleodganj !

It is a Saturday evening and I want to tell you something today. Let us talk about some relaxation and change your mood. Last Saturday, I got a chance to visit a place. I have visited this place many times before, but believe me; I find it very new, like I have never been here before. The place I am talking about is Mcleodganj, Dharamshala. Well, it is one of the most visited places of Himachal Pradesh but I am going to describe Dharamshala in a different manner. You will love the way I will describe this place. Dharamshala is the head quarter of Kangra, but has a big tourist value too.
The place was astonished and damn beautiful; the way to Mcleodganj surrounded by fog. Fog in the mountains is the sexiest thing you can ever imagine. The big mountains cover with fog is one of the best view anyone can get, which is a dream of any photographer, to capture these breathtaking views. The Dhauladhar is one of the most watchable mountain range in the world. These mountains covered with heavy snow always, and there is a slight chill in the atmosphere even in the summers. Well, you have to experience this place once in your lifetime.
The St. Xavier church is the first place, which must visit while travelling to Mcleodganj; it is nearly 120 years old. This is the only place, where you will find enough road space where you can park your car and without any damage or harm, you will surely find it on the same place. Mcleodganj is famous for the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery; it is a serene place, where you will hear the chants of Lamas. It is also a crowded place where you will catch so many foreigners, Indians and Tibetans, but believe me this place is worse from the point of view of a driver, crowded and broken roads, and a huge risk of accident.
From Mcleodganj, there is a place called as “BhagsuNag” this place is a Hindu pilgrimage, where you will find clear water, this place has a historical importance, which you will know when you visit it. Deodar trees surround this holy place.

This trip was a memorable one, but I wish some social problems and inconvenience could be solved as soon as possible. Overall, do visit this place you will love the serenity, peace and genuine nature of the people here. Yes, please do taste hot momos and thupka to conclude your trip. A must visit place before you die! I can say proudly say that. Hope you have liked my article.

SPIRULINA - A SUPER FOOD!

There are so many ways to provide shape and size of a human body. No, I am not talking by some medical procedure, I am talking about the food/plant by which we can change our physique, and you may say some protein supplement can do it, but I am talking about a food, which provides more protein than all these protein supplements that food known as Spirulina. Spirulina is a micro alga that appeared on Earth there are over 3.5 billion years, which puts it among the oldest terrestrial beings. It grows in both fresh and salt water, 100 grams of Spirulina provides 1213 KJ (290 K cal) of energy, 24 g of carbohydrates, 7.72 g of fats, 57.47 g of proteins and many other essential vitamins.
Spirulina is termed as, “super food”, it contains high amount of protein, minerals and vitamins, it is capable of curing many deficiencies, and diseases even cancer. Yes, it is capable of fighting against cancer too, because it contains the tendency to increase the interleukin-12 in the body, which has the power to fight against the carcinogenic agents.
This super food can help in gaining the weight, a number of skinny people use various protein supplements, which are available in the market, and they should know that these supplements would not give them the weight, which they desire, because they do not work for everybody. Spirulina is a natural supplement, which works for everybody, it increases the appetite and which results in improved digestion, and subsequently it leads to the improved excretory system. When the system of a body is good and healthy, it results in great physique. Likewise, Spirulina helps in losing the weight.
It has beta-carotene, which is an antioxidant, which improves the glow on the face and subsequently results in anti aging, many people of the age 30-40, but their face shows a different story, this super food is essential for them to fight against aging properties.

Spirulina has many health benefits, if I write each and every, one of them you may be tired of reading. In addition, I believe, in the 21st century, many countries are suffering from poverty and their people facing malnutrition, for those countries this super food can provide enough nutrition. They would not suffer from malnutrition and hunger, if they provided enough amount of Spirulina. It is available in flakes, tablets and capsules and the cost of this is not much.

It can also provide revenue to the people who harvest Spirulina in their fields, majorly ponds. It can grow there and I believe it can transform the economic condition of those farmers. It may be a super food, but I believe it should be termed as “Super-Boon”.

CRUSADER AGAINST CHILD LABOUR !

Today, I am going to talk about an issue, which is a big challenge among the 21st century. A challenge where many children face a heavy load of work, they should have books in hands, but they hold heavy machinery, they should play in playgrounds but they do labour. I am talking about “Child Labour” issue. I know there is poverty in our nation and in many countries too. Nevertheless, it is a harsh truth that many contractors, who are working in various sectors, use these poor family children for their personal benefit. They gave them less wage, less food, no proper accommodation, and no proper time to sleep but a huge load of work. These children face a serious life-ending situation in these firms every day. However, there are many people, who behave like an angel for these children, such an angel is – Kailash Satyarthi.
He is an Indian children’s right activist who was born on 11 January 1954 in Vidisha, M.P. He was an electrical engineer, but besides having a lustrous career ahead, he chooses to be a social worker. In 1983, he started “Bachpan Bachao Andolan” where he rescued over 80,000 children from various forms of slavery and helped them in rehabilitation, re-integration and education. Satyarthi campaigned many social issues concerning children. Being a social worker, especially in India, he faced so many life-threatening attacks his life is not easy. Every day, being a child savior, he faced many such threats, but he did not give up and for the last 25 years, he is continuously working for betterment of children.
"If they cry for their parents, they are beaten severely, sometimes hanged upside down from trees and even branded or burned with cigarettes,"
Today, he got the noble prize for peace with Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan. Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore to him, there is only seven Indians who have achieved this accolade until now. He is the second person from India who will get it for peace, before him Mother Teresa got this in 1979. He made a social awareness of this issue, due to which number of child labour has decreased in our nation, which is 4.3 million until now. I hope he will succeed in his mission.
“One life saved, is as equal, of saving generations

I hope our Government will make a strict law against child labour and a serious punishment for those who treat these children like their slaves. I hope he achieves success in his mission, which he has set for himself. May this savior free every slave child of this word! Saviors like Satyarthi are required in every place. He talks about “GLOBALIZATION OF COMPASSION”, I wish his agenda, will be acquired by every nation and I hope people will not see poor children as slaves from now, but like their own children.

Satyamev Jayate

Well, Today I saw an episode of “Satyamev Jayate” and it was focussed on the role of sports in the life of an individual. You may say what’s new in this we know about it, but the way Aamir Khan presented this show was amazing. I was a sportsman too during my school and college life, I have a good experience and knowledge of sports, but the way “Satyamev Jayate” happened today I was delighted. Seriously this television show is my all time favourite and I never miss any episode. They raise all the issues which have major concern with the Indian society. They show true picture of any issue, related personal experiences and they also tell the solution to overcome that issue. I mean they bring positivity by a great eye-opener episode; every episode of “Satyamev Jayate” is a big secret until it gets on-air.
Today in the first episode of season-3, they talked about role of sports in an individual’s life. They talked about a guy who was a gangster once, but one football changed his life. He was transformed from a goon to a sober guy. They gave a good example of Phogat sisters from Haryana who got success by fighting against all odds, survived from the social humiliation and brought glory for their family and nation. Their father gave a very good reply to society when they were practising wrestling in their village that if a woman can be a Prime minister why she can’t be a wrestler. Wow! What a thinking he has. Next they gave an example of Subham Jaglan a nine year old golfer who has won 110 tournaments till now. Our country has a great talent and potential these three examples were enough to explain that. We have a huge amount of talent, it’s clear.
Now what is the problem? I mean why we are not successful in clinching gold medals in Olympics, why we struggle in getting one gold in the mega event. Why we don’t learn from China, they have excellent infrastructure, management and people who really contribute for the nation without any self gain. We should learn from our neighbour nations who are smaller in size as compared to India but they perform better in sports than India.

We should set free our sports administration from political interference. It is sucking our talent and calibre; they usually prefer their favourite persons in the teams, and the people who have no resources faces degradation from them. Seriously a talented person should get enough chances to show his talents in every field. We should expect good performers in sports not some people who are there due to the favour of few politicians. I expect our new Govt. to make a law against those politicians who spoil the sports and play dirty politics there. I hope our parents will wake up and let their children to play any sport which ever they like. They shouldn’t force their child to do what they want; they should set him/her free to choose their career. I hope our Indian society will learn something from our sports heroes. I hope my country will perform better in Rio 2016!
